Perish Plains: A drawing focused series that pairs two contemporary artists to collaborate on 20-30 pages of abstract landscapes or environments. The series will primarily focus on international artists from the alternative comics/zine world.

Vol. 3 features:

Keith Jones is a fine artist, Canadian doodler, rambler and cartoonist. He was proprietor of the world famous Hot-N-Dog hotdog shop and has exhibited all around the world. With Drawn & Quarterly he has published an art book called Bacter-Area, a graphic novel called Catland Empire and forthcoming, his book length comic Secret Times.

Seth Scriver’s work includes drawings, airbrush paintings, comics, sculpture, and animation. His book, Stooge Pile (2010), published by Drawn & Quarterly, was nominated for a Doug Wright “Pigskin Peters” Award. And his feature animation Asphalt Watches co created with Shayne Ehman, won best Canadian first feature at TIFF 2013. He lives in Toronto’s Kensington Market.
